Patience ?

Patience is one of the most consistent lessons we’re taught growing up, but does it ever really change? I’m mentally ready to be a husband, and I’m excited for when my wife and I are ready to start a family. But when it comes to being a leader in my community or my workplace, I often wonder if I’m truly ready, or if I need to wait a little longer.

I still find myself laughing at farts and playfully hitting my friends when they’re not looking. Will that ever go away, or is that something I’ll carry with me as I grow? How can I aim to be a CEO if I find humor in things like that? Or maybe that’s just what makes me… me.

I guess we’ll never know if we’ve got what it takes until we try. So, here goes everything. My goal is to never give up on this vision, even if it evolves along the way. The dream will always remain at the core, and I’ll keep the main thing the main thing—building something for my family and friends that they can benefit from without having to do the heavy lifting.
